SB-POOL SEALER
Chemical product specially formulated to seal leaks or water leaks in swimming pools, spas, wells, cisterns, pipes, etc...
Its effectiveness cannot be guaranteed depending on the size of the leak.
SB-Pool Sealer can be applied in any type of pools and spas, regardless of the material used in its construction, concrete, paint, fiberglass, liner, etc...
It works equally well with the most common materials used in the manufacture of pipes such as PVC, ABS, Copper, Steel, ect....
SB-Pool Sealer is a corrosion inhibiting agent and does not deteriorate the interior of pools and spas.
SEALER Characteristics
- Packaging: 1L
- Appearance/Color: White viscous liquid
- Density (at 20 ºC): 1.393 - 1.396 grs/cm³
- pH (at 20 ºC): 11 - 11,5
- Yield: 1L SEALER per 80 m³ of water.
In case of using a concentration higher than 5L of product per 80 m³ of water, it is recommended to change the water before using the pool, spa, etc...
Method of use
- Fill the pool, spa, etc. completely.
- For pools with flint or diatomaceous earth filters, set the valve of the filtration system to "recirculation" position. For pools with other types of filters, it is recommended to remove the filtering elements or by-pass the filter before adding.
- ALWAYS shake the bottle before use.
- Start the filtration system and slowly add the dosage recommended by the skimmers or, in overflowing pools, directly into the pool near the discharge nozzles to facilitate the homogenization of the product.
- The product is very dense and has a tendency to deposit quickly on the bottom of the pool. To avoid this, it is recommended to remove the area where it has been deposited using a brush.
- Adjust the valves of the filtration system to concentrate the suction from the sump (pools with skimmers). Keep the filtration system running - recirculation position - until the crack(s) have been sealed and no water is leaking. Estimate a minimum of 24 - 48 hours.
- Check the water level of the pool, spa, etc. Verify for 2 or 3 days that the water level does not drop, thus verifying its repair.
- Once the crack(s) have disappeared, put the filtration system in the "filtration" position (after reinstalling the filter elements that were removed during the repair of the leak).
- The treatment can be repeated if a complete repair of the crack(s) has not been achieved.
