AFM Dryden Aqua active filtering glass

AFM filter glass is glass activated by a unique process, which can self-clean and thus achieve superior filtration performance. Thanks to this performance, the water is cleaner and clearer so that less chlorine and less energy is consumed.

Due to its lower specific gravity, 15% less AFM is needed than sand. For example, if the filter contains 150 kg of sand, only 125 kg of AFM will be needed.

Complies with UNE-EN 12904 and ISO 9001:2008 standards.

Main benefits of AFM Active filtering glass

• Healthier water: no biofilm layer is created, because bacteria cannot adhere to the glass surface. This prevents the transmission of pathogens.
• Clearer water: Provides 1 micron filtration without flocculation.
• Healthier air: no biofilm, no trichloramines and no chlorine smell.
• More economical filtration: Reduces water and chlorine consumption.
• Longer lasting filtration: filtration with AFM filter glass has a longer service life than with other media.

Single grade (0.4 - 1.2 mm) suitable for filters up to Ø 800 mm and for all filters with crepine plate, regardless of their diameter. AFM® 3 is required for filters with larger diameters to ensure adequate water flow.
