Calcium Hypochlorite CTX-120

Fast dissolving granulated calcium hypochlorite with 65-70% useful chlorine, for disinfection and maintenance of crystal clear and hygienically pure water.

Ideal for

• All types of swimming pools, spas, industrial waters with low hardness.

Initial Treatment

• Add 15 grams of product per m3 of water.
• After 2 hours, adjust the pH of the water to between 7.2-7.6 using CTX-10 solid pH reducer or CTX-20 solid pH increaser.
• The initial treatment (Superchlorination) should be repeated whenever a lack of transparency in the water is observed.

Maintenance Treatment

• With the pH of the water adjusted, add daily 1 to 2 grams of product per m3 of water.
• These doses are approximate and can be modified according to the characteristics of each pool.

Shock treatments

• It does not add cyanuric acid to the pool water, and has a high chlorine concentration (65%).
• Introduce the necessary dose of product inside the skimmers and then turn on the filtration equipment, so that the product can be dissolved as it circulates through the skimmers.
• It is also possible to distribute the dose of product on the surface of the pool equally. The addition of the product should preferably be done at dusk and without the presence of bathers in the pool water.
• The free residual chlorine should be between 0.5-2 mg/l. This value can be easily measured using a chlorine and pH analyzer kit.
• This control should be carried out at least twice a day.
• In pools made of polyester, liner or vinyl, the contact of the product on the surfaces of the pool should be avoided, as discoloration of these surfaces may occur.

Doses of orientative character that can be modified according to the specific characteristics of each swimming pool, climatology, etc.
