The BCN03 corchera:

• They reduce the swell inside the competition lane by 80%. In this way, the wave that causes a swimmer to move is practically absorbed, without producing appreciable reflection effects.
• They absorb up to 50% more waves than conventional ones. This ensures that each lane of the pool is affected as little as possible by the activity in the adjacent lane.

Operation

Each float has a mechanism made up of 24 turbines distributed in 6 axes. The water wave makes the turbines rotate, transforming the kinetic energy into mechanical energy which in turn is dissipated by friction, preventing its transfer to the adjacent street. Each turbine can rotate freely around its axis and in turn the whole corridor can rotate around the cable.

Technical features

• The outer casing is made of two pieces of technical plastics with characteristics that prevent the swimmers from being damaged by hitting against it. The inner parts are made of polyethylene and polypropylene.
• The same float is available in an Eco version that keeps the same aesthetics of the casing and the same colors but without the inner turbine mechanism. Available colors of the floats: white, blue, red and green.
• The corcheras are supplied assembled with floats and 6 mm stainless steel cable and hook.
