AstralPool Gen Brom
The Bromine Generator is a granulated inorganic compound that transforms the active chlorine generated by salt electrolysis treatment into bromine, for disinfection and maintenance of clean and hygienically pure water.
Properties
- Appearance: Crystalline solid
- Color: White
- pH of a 5% solution: 6.0 - 8.0
- Solubility at 25ºC: 93 grs / 100 ml
Dosage and mode of use
Initial treatment: At the start-up of the electrochlorinator, dissolve 30 to 40 kg of salt per 10 m 3 of water, adding it directly to the inside of the pool, with the filtration equipment running and the valve in the "recirculation" position. Then add 600 grams of product per 10 m 3 of water.
Adjust the electrochlorinator to obtain a Bromine level between 2 and 3 mgr/l, a value that can be easily measured using a Bromine and pH analyzer kit. This control should be carried out at least twice a day.
Maintenance treatment: At each addition of 25 kg of salt, add 500 grams of product for every 10 m 3 of water inside the skimmers, running the filtration equipment in recirculation position or dosing the product directly into the pool water, in order to dissolve it.
This addition of salt should be done due to the decrease of the salt concentration as a consequence of filter washings, etc.
These doses are for guidance only and can be modified depending on the characteristics of each pool, climate, etc...
The recommendations for use are given for information purposes and may vary due to changes in the formulation or modifications by the manufacturer. It is necessary to follow the instructions contained in the label that accompanies the product.
