In areas with sub-zero winters where the pool water can freeze, the wintering float allows to absorb the excess pressure and avoid deformations in the steel or wooden walls.
Frozen water exerts pressure on the walls and can damage them, causing cracks to appear.
The floats absorb the increase in volume and protect the pool structure from frost.
It includes holes at the top that allow to tie it between two opposite points of the pool to keep it fixed.
It is recommended to be placed diagonally along the surface of the aboveground pool.
The number of floats to be placed depends on the dimensions of each pool.
