Tips:
If we decide to leave the pool set up in winter, we must take into account the following:
Leave the pool full of water, bearing in mind that:
For pools with skimmer and return valve: water level 5 cm below the skimmer and close the return valve with the screw cap supplied with the filter unit.
For pools with inlet and return valve: water level 20 cm from the top of the pool and close the valves by means of the screw system incorporated in the valves.
Disconnect the hoses. Do not disassemble the skimmer (if any) or the valves.
Protect the pool with a winter cover and place a large inflatable element between the water and the cover to protect the pool against the cold.
To avoid the formation of algae during this period of time, use a chemical product for wintering.
With regard to the filtering system, it is advisable to disconnect it from the pool, clean it, empty the sand, dry it and store it in a covered place without humidity.
