• Diaphragm removal:

1. Hold the Manta II body and unclip the cassette from the body. Pull the cassette out of the Manta II body.
2. Grasp the outer tube with one hand and unscrew the cassette completely.
3. Grasp the diaphragm and pull it out of the cassette.
4. Pull the diaphragm out of the inner tube without removing the retaining ring on the diaphragm.

• Diaphragm adjustment specific to Manta II:
  • • If the diaphragm slot opening is too large (more than 4 mm), yet the diaphragm is not deteriorated or broken, you can fix it by letting a diaphragm rib out of the cassette. This can eliminate efficiency problems: clogging of the cleaner, cleaning coverage problems, etc.
• Reassembling the diaphragm:

1. Attach the diaphragm to the inner extension tube. If it is a new diaphragm, don't forget to replace the ring.
2. Slide the top of the inner extension tube (end opposite the diaphragm) into the bottom of the cassette. The diaphragm should fit snugly into the bottom of the cassette.
3. Re-thread the bottom of the cassette back onto the outer extension tube of the cleaner, without over-tightening.
4. Reinsert the cassette back into the body and rethread the outer extension tube / cassette assembly until it is snug.
