Seal small leaks, pores, and cracks with Aqua-Stop by Piscimar

A product specially formulated to seal small leaks, pores, and cracks in pools and spas, both on the surface and within the plumbing system.
Its liquid, viscous formula allows the product to be added directly to the pool water. Since it is water-miscible, it circulates through the system until it reaches the points where small leaks may occur. When it comes into contact with air at the leak site, AQUA-STOP solidifies and helps create a seal, stopping the water loss.
Thanks to its concentrated formulation, it is a practical solution for treating small pores and hard-to-locate cracks without the need to intervene directly at the affected spot.
Ideal for small leaks in pools and spas
AQUA-STOP can be used to treat small, localized water leaks in:
- Pool and spa surfaces.
- Small pores and cracks.
- The system’s hydraulic circuits.
For best results, always follow the instructions for use, dosage, and guidelines in the product’s technical data sheet.
Directions for Use and Dosage
The recommended dosage is 1 liter of AQUA-STOP per 75 m³ of water.
- Turn off the pool pump.
- Set the filter to the Bypass or Recirculation position. It is important that the product does not pass through the filter, heat pump, heat exchanger, or other similar equipment.
- Add 1 L per 75 m³ of water.
- If the leak is in the pool shell: add the product directly to the water over the affected area.
- If the location of the leak is unknown or if it is in the pipes: add the product through the skimmer.
- Allow AQUA-STOP to work for 40 minutes to help it travel through the pipes and achieve a faster seal in that area.
- After 40 minutes, turn on the pump and keep it running for at least 8 hours in bypass mode.
- Mark the water level and, after 24 hours, check to see if there has been any change.
- In large pools, a second application of AQUA-STOP may be necessary.
- Once the product has taken effect, return the filter valve to its normal position.
Swimming may resume 24 hours after applying the product.
